In this blog the author writes about how she used her smartphone as well as letting a student use theirs to Google an answer to a question because the teacher didn’t know the answer either. The teacher question herself if by allowing the student to use her phone and google hinder learning? She asks the question of can we just ignore the kind ¬†of technology our students have at hand and does it prevent, or enhance learning? My view on this whole concept is that I think students should be able to use any technology that they have at their disposal! If a student doesn’t know the answer to a question and neither does the teacher, I think that they should be able to Google it there on the spot from their smartphone or iPad.
